UL1598C Standard for Light-Emitting Diode (LED) Retrofit Luminaire Conversion Kits

UL1598C是LED改裝式替換件的安全標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，是針對(duì)以LED產(chǎn)品取代傳統(tǒng)照明光源的安全要求。

 

UL產(chǎn)品類(lèi)別編號(hào)IFAR，申請(qǐng)Classified標(biāo)志。

01 改裝說(shuō)明

如果改裝后的燈具依然使用原有燈具的燈座，防止用戶換回以前光源的說(shuō)明內(nèi)容，需逐字逐句體現(xiàn)在Marking中。

“This luminaire has been modified to operate LED lamps. Do not attempt to install or operate ___*___ lamps in this luminaire,” shall be marked on the retrofit luminaire where readily visible by the user during normal maintenance including relamping. “*” shall be replaced by the original illumination type such as “fluorescent,” “HID,” etc.

 

02 換光源標(biāo)簽

LED Lamp Replacement Marking – Identification of the replacement LED lamp type/model to be used along with manufacturer and ordering information.

 

03 電路接線指引

對(duì)于LED燈管的替換安裝，應(yīng)有文字或電路圖說(shuō)明如何與燈座進(jìn)行電源連接，以便在安裝或更換燈時(shí)可以正確安裝。

For a linear tubular LED lamp conversion, there shall be text or a diagram showing how the supply connections were made to the lampholders so the correct connections will be made to the lamp when the lamp is installed or replaced.

貼在現(xiàn)場(chǎng)的燈具上，需要在安裝燈具檢查線路時(shí)可見(jiàn)， 靠近燈具輸入線

01 安裝警示語(yǔ)

安裝Retrofit Kit時(shí)，需要在燈具上打孔，應(yīng)有如下的警示語(yǔ)： 

WARNING – Risk of fire or electric shock. Luminaire wiring and electrical parts may be damaged when drilling for installation of LED retrofit kit. Check for enclosed wiring and components.

 

說(shuō)明書(shū) Instructions

標(biāo)簽位置：L5，在說(shuō)明書(shū)中體現(xiàn)

字體要求：S24

 

01 說(shuō)明書(shū)須包含以下內(nèi)容

WARNING – Risk of fire or electric shock. LED Retrofit Kit installation requires knowledge of luminaires electrical systems. If not qualified, do not attempt installation. Contact a qualified electrician.

 

02 說(shuō)明書(shū)須包含以下內(nèi)容

WARNING – Risk of fire or electric shock. Install this kit only in luminaires that have the construction features and dimensions shown in the photographs and/or drawings and where the input rating of the retrofit kit does not exceed the input rating of the luminaire.

 

03 說(shuō)明書(shū)須包含以下內(nèi)容

WARNING – To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sheet metal or other sharp objects.

 

04 說(shuō)明書(shū)須包含以下內(nèi)容

根據(jù)實(shí)際情況填寫(xiě)Retrofit kit的電壓和頻率：

Risk of fire or electric shock,The electrical rating of these products are___Vac,___Hz. The installer must determine whether they have___Vac, ___Hz the luminaire before installation.

 

05 燈具如需打孔的說(shuō)明

安裝時(shí)如需在燈具上打孔，須包含以下內(nèi)容：

WARNING – Risk of fire or electric shock. Luminaire wiring and electrical parts may be damaged when drilling for installation of LED retrofit kit. Check for enclosed wiring and components.

 

06 燈具如需打孔的說(shuō)明

安裝時(shí)如需在燈具上打孔，須包含以下內(nèi)容，并逐字逐句體現(xiàn)在說(shuō)明書(shū)中：

Only those open holes indicated in the photographs and/or drawings may be made or altered as a result of kit installation. Do not leave any other open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components.

 

07 燈具不能打孔的說(shuō)明

安裝時(shí)如不能在燈具上打孔，須包含以下內(nèi)容，并逐字逐句體現(xiàn)在說(shuō)明書(shū)中：

Do not make or alter any open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components during kit installation.

 

08 警示語(yǔ)

替換式LED燈管， 需要一個(gè)燈座同時(shí)接市電的零火線時(shí)，例如單端供電的LED直管燈，說(shuō)明書(shū)必須包含以下內(nèi)容，也可以打在LED燈管上。

WARNING: To avoid potential fire or shock hazard, do not use this retrofit kit in luminaires employing shunted bi-pin lampholders. Note: Shunted lamp holders are found only in fluorescent luminaires with Instant-Start ballasts. Instant-start ballasts can be identified by the words “Instant Start” or “I.S.” marked on the ballast. This designation may be in the form of a statement pertaining to the ballast itself, or may be combined with the marking for the lamps with which the ballast is intended to be used, for example F40T12/IS. For more information, contact the LED luminaire retrofit kit manufacturer.

 

09 使用原熒光燈燈座的說(shuō)明

使用原有的熒光燈的燈座時(shí)，須包含以下內(nèi)容：

Installers should not disconnect existing wires from lampholder terminals to make new connections at lampholder terminals. Instead installers should cut existing lampholder leads away from the lampholder and make new electrical connections to lampholder lead wires by employing applicable connectors.

 

10 Wet Location的說(shuō)明

適用于Wet Location燈具中的Retrofit Kits，可以有類(lèi)似以下說(shuō)明：

This retrofit kits suitable for using in wet locations luminaires specified as below.

 

11 Damp Location的說(shuō)明

適用于Damp Location燈具中的Retrofit Kits，可以有類(lèi)似以下說(shuō)明：

This retrofit kits suitable for using in dry or damp locations luminaires.

 

12 輸入線的溫度說(shuō)明

溫升測(cè)試時(shí)，如果燈具輸入線的溫度超過(guò)60℃，要有以下類(lèi)似說(shuō)明：

The retrofit kits can install in the luminiare with MIN _75/90__ °C SUPPLY CONDUCTORS.
